Install AutoConverse Agent directly on your site with a single line of code — no tag manager required.
Add the following script just before your closing </body> tag.
<script src="https://app.agent.autoconverse.ai/dist/js/launcher.min.js" data-uc-allowed="true" async onload="AgentLauncher.init()"></script>The script automatically loads the AutoConverse Agent launcher and initializes it when ready.
For assistance or custom installation options, contact [email protected].
If you want to launch AutoConverse from your own button or link, load the script as normal, call AgentLauncher.init(), then call AgentLauncher.open() from your click handler.
<button type="button" id="openAgentBtn">Chat with us</button>
<script src="https://app.agent.autoconverse.ai/dist/js/launcher.min.js"
data-uc-allowed="true"
async
onload="AgentLauncher.init()"></script>
<script>
document.getElementById("openAgentBtn").addEventListener("click", function () {
if (window.AgentLauncher) {
AgentLauncher.open();
}
});
</script>data-uc-allowed="true", exactly as in the one-line snippet above. Leave it in place so the Agent is permitted to load on your site.AutoConverse does not add its own Google Analytics tag to your page. The launcher only reports activity into the analytics you already have.
When Enable Google analytics is turned on for your site in the AutoConverse CMS, the launcher sends events into your page’s existing dataLayer (GTM) or gtag. Events are named autoconverse_*.
If your analytics runs through GTM, follow GA4 events to forward those events to GA4.
Simply remove the script line from your site’s HTML or comment it out. The Agent button and assistant stop loading immediately.
